Soul Soothing
This song, I tell ya...
I was looking for Motown tunes to perk up an admittedly anxiety-ridden morning (Motown music is healing, for real), and a compilation of 80's Motown tunes (um, hello two of my favorites— 80's and Motown) popped up as a Google Play recommendation. Thank you, Google Play, but why are you abandoning me?? (They are shutting down soon and this music gal will have to pack her songs and move to Spotify like the rest of the world...)
So this song was on the compilation album and as soon as I saw the title, I thought, "This can't be the soul soothing song I'm thinking of..." Because Lord knows I needed soul soothing at that moment—along with the rest of the world— and for once, that isn't me spouting off hyperbole! Lucky for me, it was the exact tune I wanted and the exact one I needed.
