Kajagoogoo
I'm noticing a slight theme in my music lately, but do not fear, dear reader! More variety is forthcoming. For some reason, I keep veering into 80's synthpop cheesiness. I can't help myself.👼 And how do I decide the song of the day, you might ask? It's purely intuitive and this one hit the gut in a big way today.
As for Kajagoogoo (what a name!) many people know them for their radio hit "Too Shy". It is lovely tune— I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't heard it before— but I wanted to showcase something a bit deeper in their catalog, and something the resonated with me lyrically.
Have you ever met someone that felt like they were a part of you? This song certainly speaks to that sentiment and puts gorgeous, stunning instrumentation behind it. As listeners, we really can't ask for more.
