The Dingees
As I make my way through this wild world, deeply poised in my grief and confusion (see this post for more details), I find myself standing back on the rock of my faith, Jesus. As such, I am revisiting Christian artists from when I was younger (and deeply devoted to my faith). This next group didn't get noticed by many, but they put together a solid punk/ska album that defied its genre— this is the kickass Christian music I'm talking about— even if the idea of listening to Christian music makes you shudder (I get it, trust me), this isn't the cheesiness you've maybe come to expect.
The best part? Even though this came out in 1998, it still holds up to rock music today. Give it a listen and see if it doesn't make you want to dance and stick it to the proverbial man!
