We all get those mean voices in our heads from time to time.
Thanks to the positive songwriting genius that is Mr. Howard Jones, these lyrics perfectly articulate what many of us feel and encourage us that we can overcome them. There are two voices in our head—positive and negative— which we decide to fuel or feed.
These lines in particular get me:
