Material World
It
seems most of western society is living in such comfort that any minor
disturbances to said comfort leave us in disarray. I must say (with my
head hung low in shame) that I am often guilty of these occurrences. I
truly believe that is because of our lifestyles based on comfort that
even the most minor of inconveniences (a red light on the way to work, a
fast food order that takes too long, a misunderstood comment, etc.)
sends our blood pressure rising. See next time what easily upsets you.
Is it something frivolous or does it hold major weight in the grand
scheme of life? We, my friends, are living in a material, self-absorbed
world. Wish I wasn't so sucked into it myself...
